"Doing it on Saturday Will be a Right Pain!"
Have you ever been told that, as a customer in a shop, doing the job you are enquiring about is a pain? That's exactly what happened to me yesterday in Cobbler's Kingdom in Lymington.

They could do the leather repair, but if I brought it in on Saturday it would be right pain to do. "A PAIN?" I replied exasperated.

Not only did I not return on Saturday and go somewhere else, but I doubt I'll ever return again.

No appreciation of the lifetime value of a client & zero customer service.

At the most basic level businesses need to have a grasp of the basics of marketing. This is why there is always a need for marketing companies to help small businesses.

I think basic manners come first. Then an awareness of your ability to offend when opening your mouth.

I run my business from a High Street office in the Georgian seaside market town of Lymington on the edge of the New Forest. I've lived there since the age of 11 apart from a 6-year spell in Walton on Thames, Surrey..
