Up-skirt childrens' advert banned
American Apparel, the controversy loving clothing company, has been condemned by the ASA for a 'back to school' promotion featuring an 'up-skirt' shot of a young girl in a skirt. As well as the formal condemnation the ad campaign has been banned.

This is a growing problem with attention increasingly so hard to get in all the noise. If you want controversy you have to keep going further. That's not to excuse this example, which is just plain wrong, but a slap on the wrist won't stop it.
