Christmas music is so horrible, it's provoking
I've just realised that, thankfully, this year I've not been exposed to too much mind numbingly cheesy Christmas music.

Obviously I've been staying out of the shops & don't listen to Radio Cheddar FM, or watch live TV.

Every year I promise to shop online. This year I've actually done it. What a difference it's made to my mood ten days before Christmas Day.

One day, I'd love to shout at the top of my voice, "I HATE YOUR BLOODY SHOP MUSIC. WE ALL DO. WHY PLAY WHAT PEOPLE HATE YOU IDIOTS!"

I was talking to someone about this the other day. If proper music is played then they have to pay 'Needle Time' to the artist, so a whole industry has evolved to get around it. This is all the covers and horrible durge that we call 'elevator music'.

I'd sooner not hear anything at all.

I run my business from a High Street office in the Georgian seaside market town of Lymington on the edge of the New Forest. I've lived there since the age of 11 apart from a 6-year spell in Walton on Thames, Surrey..
